Why can't I see the exact time that remains in my game?

Because there is also an effect called time lag that appears during online mobile games, so we cannot show you the exact time – the timer is always corrected to+/-10 sec during the game (this can be more as it depends on your connection conditions).

So Instead of this, we show you a special scale that helps you to define how much time remains for each player and which player's turn it is. The time scale is shown on each screen during the game, so you can easily see when your opponent makes a move. Please read more about time lags.

Why cannot I change my Screen Name?

For InstantChess.com your Screen Name works like your email address for a mail server – all the data (games, results, account) are connected to your Screen Name. Your games are also recorded in your opponents' archives.

Thus, Screen name changing means total loss of all personal data and this is possible only by registering a new Screen Name. On Instant Chess Mobile you cannot register a new Screen Name twice because information about your phone is part of your InstantChess.com account.

My phone is not in the compatible phones list but it is a Smartphone. When will I get a version for my phone?
